The show is based on three interconnected planes: the story itself, the video installation, and the participation of the audience in the action by using remote controls handed to them upon entering the theater.
The text aims to look into an event of the “news in brief” sort – the disappearance of an eight-year-old, both in real life and the media, and the way in which this event changes course when television comes into the picture. The integration of the seven monitors in the domestic spaces of the apartment block dwellers and the video rendition of reality are to the audience a polyvalent expression of what television means.
The show looks into the dynamics of the relation between the audience and television: which one influences the other? Who controls whom? Who manipulates whom? What is more important: information or its “impact”?
