Bogdan Georgescu’s style is very fresh and courageous, with the ambition to shape the show starting from the text level. A few actors first introduce themselves to the audience, with first and last names, the place of birth and a confession about the first cigarette they smoked (this is Romania, nobody dares not to smoke!), then link the scenes of the show by means of a soundtrack made by hitting a few household objects. All the members of this “civil chorus” participate in the effort to change the set, consisting of a few mobile platforms that must be removed after each scene. The presence of this little orchestra imparts a feeling of detachment from the story that is being told, a critical distance that the modern spectator, incapable of believing any story to its end, really needs.
