A challenging show with the actors’ performance coming as a pleasant surprise, Parasites does not induce relaxation, on the contrary, it makes one think twice. At the level of both image and ideas, the play attempts to shake up the comfortableness and inertia of the theatrical milieu by forming tight bonds between the characters and the frames in which they are acting.
