Major film schools teach their scriptwriters and directors to tell stories. How many people could still listen in their childhood to stories told, not read? The stories have fallen apart, crumbled, scattered in movies, song lyrics and soap operas.
Polemically and therapeutically, we test ourselves in the dangerous art of storytelling. It is not an ordinary story, but one whose characters are God, Death, The Devil… The people who will be listening will remember for a while that one can talk about big, essential issues naturally, with humor and casualness.
After the roles in The Theater Creator, Krapp’s Last Tape, The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? and Home at My Father’s, Marcel Iureş meets Ion Creangă. It will be a surprise to many. A few, however, will say: “It was about time!
