Eduard Gabia, born in 1979, graduated from Floria Capsali Choreography High School in Bucharest. He received scholarships from Tanzquartier (Vienna), Internationales TanzFest Berlin/Tanz im August, KaaiTheater (Belgium) and Dance Theatre (New York). He worked with the choreographers Karine Ponties, Charles Linehan, Thomas Lehmen, Kattrin Deufert, Thomas Plischke, Yoshiko Chuma. His plays were performed at Mercat de Flores (Barcelona), Dance Theater Workshop (New York), Tanz im August (Berlin), Tanzquartier (Vienna), ImpulsTanz Festival (Vienna), 4+4 Days in Motion Festival (Prague), Manoever Festival (Leipzig), Festival Quartier.
