About the educational workshop
The Trans Artists foundation offers a practical information workshop for (young) artists and students. Trans Artists will guide the artists through all the stages in finding residence opportunities in the global network.
The workshop will assist the artists in becoming familiar with the world of residences. The first step is to establish a list of priorities that will help the artist understand what program to apply for so as to improve the chance of fulfilling one’s projects.
Trans Artists collaborates with: Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam, St. Lucas Art School for Visual Arts, Gent, Biennial for Young Artists, Bucharest, CIANT, Days of Artistic Mobility, Prague, U3 Biennial, Ljubljana, Estonian Academy for the Arts, Tallinn.
Trans Artists is also the Dutch coordinator of the European Pépinières program for young artists and of the Platform for International Guest Studios in Holland. Trans Artists also hosts the secretariat of Res Artis: the World Wide Association of International Residential Art Centers.
